This work engages the familiar narrative of historical English china to reconstruct contemporary observations. The sleepy rural idyll is transposed through metamorphic application, to a neoteric association with the urban landscape. Nostalgia, sentimentalism and romanticism all vlid vocabulary, are positioned and become disrupted by contemporary intervention.
