"It is also notable that whilst the work can be viewed as installation, it also crosses the boundary into sculpture, which historically within the gallery setting adheres to the policy of non-physical interaction. This observation can be applied to ceramics in the sense that on the most part ceramics are not physically interacted with within the gallery environment. "
