The conference included many well known makers and theorists who contributed to a unique and stimulating examination of the conference theme. The three days of lectures were also enhanced by exhibitions in Bergen including Ting Tang Trash.

I am always interested in a wider dissemination of ceramic art so thank you to Hyo-Sun Kim for the review of my show Parallax View - in the Korean ceramics journal Monthly Ceramic Art, issue June 2010. I look forward to my visit to Korea in November 2010 to engage with both the historical and contemporary arena of ceramic art.

Tsinghua University Ceramics and Glass

Visit to Tsinghua University, Beijing in August. I made a visit to the departments of Ceramics and Glass at Tsinghua - very impressive departments. You can see me pictured with Guan Donghai, professor within the glass department, I met him again back in the UK in September in our department of Glass & Ceramics at the University of Sunderland, where he is joining our large and impressive cohort of PhD researchers.
